2D Casting Process
2D Casts or outprints are a great way to capture a moment in time in great detail, using a soft earth clay to capture every line and crease of your hands or feet. The process begins with pushing the hand or foot into the clay to take an imprint, it is pain free and only takes a few minutes, the clay is a natural product and completely safe to use.
After taking the imprint we use a ground stone plaster mix to create your finished cast, this is available in either gold, silver or natural terracotta finishes.
2D Cast Frames
The finished 2D Casts are available with a choice of 4 frames – light wood, white, antique gold or black/silver. All frames are made from real wood and are available with your choice of mounts. Once we have taken the clay imprint the finished product will usually be ready within 4-6 weeks.
